Devi Ahilya University, Indore (DAVV Indore) was set up in 1964 in Madhya Pradesh as Devi Ahilya University/Indore University. In the year 1988, the university was given a new name as Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. The jurisdiction of the university spans over seven districts.
